Attorney William Grigas is a dedicated civil litigator at Stackpole & French Law Offices, where he represents clients across Vermont in a broad range of civil disputes. With a particular focus on landlord-tenant law, property disputes, and partition actions, William has built a reputation for his skill and commitment in both plaintiff and defense cases. Licensed in Vermont, Massachusetts, and the United States District Court for the District of Vermont, William has successfully argued appeals in the Vermont Supreme Court, establishing a proven track record in both trial and appellate courts. His practice is based in the firm’s Jeffersonville office, allowing him to engage closely with local clients and contribute to their legal needs statewide.

William’s legal career began in the greater Boston area, where he specialized in insurance defense, including extensive work in insurance fraud cases. He earned his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, where he was an editor for the Suffolk Law Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy and worked in the Student Clinic assisting indigent clients in health law, juvenile defense, and landlord-tenant law. He also served as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Justice Joseph A. Trainor of the Massachusetts Appeals Court.

William received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, cum laude, from Alvernia University in Pennsylvania.
