Jeremy D. Hoff, Esq.

Associate Jeremy Hoff joined Stackpole & French Law Offices in 2008. He assists clients primarily in the areas of real estate (transactions, financing, subdivision, and condominium formation), land use, utility regulation, corporate formation, and general civil matters.
Following law school Jeremy served as a Law Clerk in the Office of Legislative Council at the Vermont Legislature. During his time at Legislative Council Jeremy performed research, legislative drafting, and provided legal counsel to state legislators. He authored numerous pieces of legislation in the areas of agriculture, commerce, economic development, and environmental regulation.
Jeremy is a graduate of the University of Vermont (B.A. English & Sociology, 1999) and Vermont Law School, having received a Master of Studies in Environmental Law (M.S.E.L.) in 2004 and J.D. in 2007.
During law school Jeremy clerked for two Burlington, Vermont law firms where he gained general practice experience with an emphasis on real estate transactions and land use. He also co-authored the Land Use chapter of the Second Edition of the Vermont Bar Association’s Environmental Practice Manual.
Jeremy serves on the Development Review Board and the Business Loan Fund Committee in Montpelier where he lives with his wife Sarah and their dog Joni.
